AppStore Generates More Revenue To Developers Than Google Play And Amazon

The report comes from Flurry Analytics which reveals that Apple's AppStore generates more revenue for developers followed by Amazon's Appstore and then Google Play. The method used for comparing the revenue over these cross platforms was to examine the most popular applications in generating revenue. These applications had almost similar popularity among the three platforms - iOS , Amazon and Android.

This means that for every $1.00 an app generates in the Apple's AppStore, it would generate $0.89 in the Amazon Appstore and $0.23 in Google Play. Earlier this month, Apple crossed a record 25 billion downloads from more than 550,000 available apps. Google announced in December 2011 that it had crossed 10 billion downloads from 400,000 available apps.
