Apple Files A Claim To Control iPhone5.com Domain - Likely To Name The Next iPhone as iPhone 5
Fusible reports that Apple has filed an intellectual property claim with world Intellectual Property Organization to gain control of the domain iPhone5.com. This website is basically a small forum to discuss about the rumors of upcoming iPhone, in this case iPhone 5 as this domain was acquired in October 2010 after the release of iPhone 4. Seems like Apple is going to name the next iPhone as iPhone 5 and hence they are starting to work on the brand name.
Before the release of iPhone 4S, there were many rumors that Apple will name the iPhone as iPhone 5 while some where of the opinion that the name would be simply iPhone 4S. Eventually the name turned out to be iPhone 4S. The same thing happened with the new iPad.
