Apple Has Started Blocking Jailbreak Usage In iPhone iTunes
Apple has started blocking the usage of word jailbreak in iTunes for iPhone. Musclenerd has just shared an image over twitter that showing apple blocking the word jailbreak and adding *** and making it appear as J*******k. From the image we can make out that Apple is silently expelling its frustration for jailbreak by blocking everything related to jailbreaking.
This audio song possibly had nothing to do with jailbreaking but because of the naming convention used, apple has blocked the title. Apple has a really good reason to be frustrated with jailbreaking team and jailbreak users. Jailbreak developers were able to jailbreak Apple's newes iOS 5.1 when it was released on the very same day. There were over 3 different methods discovered for jailbreaking iOS 5.1. Apple however released an early update for iOS with 5.1.1 fixing safari security holes. The jailbreak has not landed in public hands and is still in the final stages.
Pod2g, the developer behind jailbreaking iOS 5.1 has confirmed over twitter that his untethered jailbreak works well on iPhone 4S and iPad2. However he said that iPhone3G and iPhone3GS new boot rom do not work well with his method and he's working on making it work. The latest update on iOS 5.1.1 untethered jailbreak release is that Pod2g, Chronic Dev-Team is planning to release the jailbreak in HITB event.
